FOUNDING STATEMENT​

The Reality of Faith and Love Ministry is a Christ-centred ministry committed to honouring the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and our foundation for faith, godly living and service. We are committed to worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth and to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with our community.

The ministry was founded by Pastor Osagie Aifesehi and Evangelist Mrs Bridget Aifesehi and was officially established on 6 May 2018 in Nottingham, United Kingdom.

                                                   OUR MISSION AND VISION

          Our Mission

Our mission is to proclaim the name of God and demonstrate the character and power of the Holy Spirit. We seek to teach love and unity, reflect the life of our Lord Jesus Christ, and equip men and women to become faithful disciples who fulfil the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20).

We are committed to developing believers in the Spirit of the Lord, wisdom and understanding, counsel and might, knowledge and the fear of the Lord, in accordance with Isaiah 11:2.

         Our Vision

Our vision is to see people come to know Jesus Christ, grow in their relationship with God, and live according to His Word. We are committed to reaching the lost and sharing the Gospel in our community and beyond (Acts 1:8).

We seek to encourage pastors, leaders and believers to live exemplary Christian lives, care faithfully for those entrusted to them (Acts 20:28), and equip God's people for the work of ministry and service (Ephesians 4:12).

                                          AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The aims and objectives of The Reality of Faith and Love Ministry are:

• To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and fulfil the Great Commission by reaching people and making disciples.

• To promote Christian faith, prayer, biblical teaching and spiritual growth.

• To provide opportunities for worship, fellowship, discipleship and community engagement.

• To support individuals and families experiencing hardship, poverty, isolation or disadvantage.

• To promote social welfare, wellbeing and stronger community relationships through charitable and community activities.

• To provide practical support and opportunities that help people build confidence, develop skills and improve their wellbeing.

• To serve our community with love, compassion, dignity and respect, regardless of background.

 

                                            STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, given by God to humanity as our guide for faith, Christian living and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15–16; 2 Peter 1:20–21).

We believe in one true God, eternally existing and revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).

We believe that humanity was created by God in His image and for His purpose. Through sin, humanity became separated from God, and our hope of salvation and reconciliation with God is found in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 5:12–21).

We believe in Jesus Christ, His life, death and resurrection, and that salvation is received through faith in Him.

We believe in the work and power of the Holy Spirit, who guides, strengthens and equips believers to live according to God's Word and to serve others.

We believe that the Church is called to love God, love people, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples and serve the community with compassion.
